keto Sesame Chicken Ingredients
– Chicken thighs: I like to use chicken thighs for this recipe for they are more flavorful. You may substitute with chicken breast.
– Egg: I like to use an egg in this Chinese keto recipe to create a crispy crust.
– Coconut aminos: Use any soy sauce you have around the house. You can substitute with Tamari sauce.
– Garlic: Fresh garlic is best for this recipe. Chop or minced garlic will do.
– Ginger: Fresh ginger is ideal for this recipe. I either chop it and mince or I use a grater.
– Sesame seeds: Sesame seeds are a really good garnish for this dish. You may skip this step if you don’t like sesame seeds.
– Arrowroot powder/Xantham gum: This powder can be used as a thickener. You can use them interchangeably.
– Freshly Ground Salt & Pepper: To taste. I like to use sea salt and also ground the pepper fresh.
