5-Ingredient keto sausage balls

– Sausage: Ground sausage. I get mine at the local grocery store and I like to mix sweet sausage and hot sausage since I like a hint of spicy on mine.

– Cheddar cheese: extra sharp cheddar, mozzarella or any kind of cheese your family enjoys. -Pork rinds or bread crumbs:  1 1/2 cups crushed.

– Almond flour: To make these low-carb and keto-friendly almond or coconut flour is a must. You can find almond flour in any grocery store or online.

– Garlic powder:  Adds lots of great flavors. I love how it really brings out the flavors of these keto meatballs.

– Cream cheese: Get the full fat version at keep at room temperature for this recipe.

– Freshly Ground Salt & Pepper: To taste. I like to use sea salt and also ground the pepper fresh.

keto Sausage Balls Recipe

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes

These keto sausage balls are great party food, appetizer, breakfast sausage or anytime snack. Perfect to freeze and hea up later.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground sausage
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  2. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix until well combined and it holds together very well.

  3. Roll the meat mixture into small balls about 1 inch in size.

  4. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until sausage is cooked all the way through, turning halfway through.

  5. Take out of the oven and serve.

  6. Enjoy!
