Ingredients For Low Carb Broccoli Fritters

– Broccoli: You will need broccoli florets for this recipe. I like to use fresh broccoli, but you can also use frozen. If using frozen, make sure to thaw it first and squeeze out any excess water.

– Parmesan cheese: I love the flavor of Parmesan in these fritters, but you can also use cheddar or another similar cheese.

– Almond flour: I use almond flour in this recipe, but you can also use coconut flour. Almond flour is gluten free. If you have a nut allergy then coconut flour is a safe choice.

– Egg: You will need one egg to bind the ingredients together.

– Salt and pepper: Be sure to season your fritters with salt and pepper to taste.

– Oil: Oil for frying

How To Make The Broccoli Fritters

  1. Start by chopping the broccoli into small pieces or using the pulse on your food processor.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the chopped broccoli, Parmesan cheese, almond flour, egg, and salt and pepper.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Scoop 1/4 cup batter to the skillet for each fritter.
  5. Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown.
  6. Remove to a paper towel lined plate.
  7. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce. I like to use ranch or sour cream.
