Ingredients For A Sugar Free Tequila Mojito

– Tequila: Use a good quality tequila for this recipe. I like to use white tequila, but you can also use silver or gold tequila. 

– Lime juice: Freshly squeezed lime juice is best for this recipe, but you can also use bottled lime juice if necessary.

– Mint leaves: You’ll need around 10-12 fresh mint leaves for this recipe. Additional leaves for garnish are optional.

– Sparkling water: I like to use sparkling water or club soda in this recipe. I sometimes use lime flavor sparkling water to make it more citrusy.

– Sweetener: I used erythritol blend for this recipe, but you can use your favorite keto-friendly sweetener.

– Garnish: I like to garnish my mojitos with a lime wedge and a sprig of mint. You can also add a few drops of bitters for extra flavor.

– Ice: You’ll need ice for this recipe. I like to use crushed ice, but you can also use cubed ice.

How To Make A Sugar Free Tequila Mojito

Instructions for the tequila mojito

  1. Start by adding the lime juice, mint leaves, and sweetener to a cocktail shaker. 
  2. Muddle the mint leaves to release their flavor. 
  3. Then add the tequila and ice cubes. 
  4. Shake well and strain into a glass filled with fresh ice cubes. 
  5. Top off with sparkling water or club soda.
  6. Garnish with a lime slice and mint leaves, if desired. 
  7. Enjoy!

Notes:

  • For a more intense lime flavor you can also add a splash of lime sparkling water for extra flavor.
  • If you want a sweeter drink, you can more erythritol or your favorite keto-friendly sweetener.
  • If you don’t have a cocktail shaker, you can also use a mason jar with a lid to shake the ingredients together.

This Sugar Free Tequila Mojito is a perfect keto cocktail that’s refreshing, flavorful, and low in carbs. It’s refreshing, flavorful, and low in carbs, making it a great choice for those on a ketogenic diet and is also a diabetic friendly mojito.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz tequila
  • 2 limes juiced
  • 10-12 mint leaves
  • 2 tsp erythritol
  • 8 oz sparkling water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime slices and mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add lime juice, mint leaves and erythritol to a cocktail shaker.

  2. Muddle mint leaves to release their flavor.

  3. Then add tequila and ice cubes.

  4. Shake well and strain into 2 glasses filled with fresh ice cubes.

  5. Top off each glass with sparkling water.

  6. Garnish with lime slice and mint leaves, if desired.
